Tablescape Thursday

Tablescape_Thursday

This morning when I opened Susan’s wonderful blog, Between Naps on the Porch, I decided- very last minute- to join in.

Pink Dishes 001

The dishes are Nikko’s Summer Glade in the Blossom Time pattern.

Pink Dishes 007

I can hear my daughters right now.

When did Mom get those dishes?”

Did you know she had those?”

Where does she have those hidden?”

Pink Dishes 006

The goblets are Johnson Brothers, and I got them through Amazon (I think…).

Pink Dishes 005

The silverplate is from those boxes I bought at the flea market (previous post).

Pink Dishes 008

The pattern of the spoon is one of my favorites.

Pink Dishes 009

Have a wonderful Thursday everyone. I am off to work in the yard.  Thank you Susan.

Your post is just lovely, truly. Those dishes remind me just a smidgen of the ones I just showed from my lastest thrifting.

I truly lol with the comment your daughters might have made. Mine would do the same thing. All 3 are just starting to show great interest in dishes.

LOVED the silver AND those yummy pink goblets.

Thank you for sharing. I always think I will but feel I have to set a full table. I like your tray version! ;)

Those dishes are beautiful! Quite different from your blue. So girly. The silverware looks good with it. I think you should host some wonderful strong coffee and maybe some peach cobbler with ice cream.

I'd hide them for sure! They're gorgeous. And they may come looking to borrow them for awhile! I had to reread this. How funny! I have two adult daughters myself, and know just where you're coming from!
