Garden Green

IMG_0685        I had no idea three years ago, when a vendor at an antique mall said,

“I have some green dishes you might like”, what an understatement that would become .

IMG_0683             Not all green calls me; however, this green does. Why? Because to my eye it is garden green.

IMG_0687                I have also given in to the fact that I like to use white as a secondary color, which provides me so many opportunities to use my milk glass.

This is the garden I have been working in today.

Last weekend at the flea market I was able to find an addition for my small collection of garden-like pottery.

Nice way to "work" in a garden! That green is unusual and so very nice with white...and with those daisies in the first photo. I came over from Susan's party!

So enjoyed your gardening efforts today. I have the same 'Harvest' pattern milkglass glasses and pitcher. They certainly look perfect with the green plates. I did a little gardening post today, too. Kinda like yours in that it's not your typical idea of gardening. Have a great Thursday!

Oh what a pretty setting! I have some white plates that I use all the time as charges or as intended! I had asked for white plates for a Christmas gift years ago and it was one of the best choices I made for a present!
