Eight Questions and a Winner (Among Winners)

The winner of the giveaway is Maggie from Grandma Yellow Hair.  Congratulations Maggie!

Thank you to everyone who participated.  I am humbled everyday by all of you and your generous spirit and your kindness. Thank you for visiting White Spray Paint.

Donna from The House on the Corner tagged me to answer 8 questions.  Donna is the perfect example of the kind of blogger I just described.

What is your favorite childhood memory?

I guess any time I was drawing houses in the dirt with my cousins, or eating my Grandmother’s 1-2-3-4 cake, which I called Favorite Cake , or listening to my aunts and mother visit, all was right in my world.

If you could come back as any person in history, who would it be and why?

It wouldn’t be as anyone famous. My fantasies go to the ordinary:

I’d own a bait shop on a bayou in Louisiana, where my husband would sell barbecued chicken, and I’d ice down the drinks in a barrel outside each morning,

or, I’d live on the prairie as in Little House ON…

or, I’d live in San Miguel de Allende and walk to the market each morning in a long , colorful skirt, wearing lots of gold bangles.

You have 5 minutes to evacuate your house. All your loved ones are safe . What would you grab from your home on your way out the door?

Nothing. I would spend my 5 minutes bossing everyone around as we left the house.

Of the posts you have created for your own blog, which one was your favorite (be sure and link it to your answer) and why?

What is your dream vacation?

I have simple wants:  anywhere with my husband , daughters, grandsons, and son-in-law.

When you know you don't have to leave the house - do you get dressed or stay in your PJ's?

I am in my yard clothes.

Do you sing in the car when you're all alone?

I sing and dance…

Have you ever been to an auction and if so, what did you buy?

Yes, I have been to auctions , and once I stop bidding against myself, I do OK.

Thanks Donna!

It's always a challenge to think of just the right thing to say in a comment, 'cause girl, there just ain't no topping you. Your mind is a deep well of bon mots and I adore you!

I just love learning little bits about the bloggers whose blogs I read. It does help to get to know them better. I have always been afraid to go to an auction just for the reason that I might bid against myself. Too funny! Have a great weekend, Pam
