Attraction and Price

IMG_4687

The treasure hunt for me is about

the attraction and the price.

The truth is,

it is

really guided

by the price.

So…

if etched metal grapes that remind me of San Miguel de Allende

are a good price-

as in $1,

I simply can’t resist.

They are going in the little house.

IMG_4689

A lamp that reminds me of the grapes

and is $5…

and also reminds me of San Miguel de Allende?

Well, you get the picture.

And vintage Mexican pottery

that nests inside each other?

For $6?

Yes.

Attraction and price.

I'm the same way, I swoon over things on Etsy all the time but unless the price is reasonable then I just don't need it that badly! Your finds are lovely:)

Me too. I seldom buy just because I need an item. That lamp is gorgeous!

Laura,
You are quite the bargain hunter! Great finds!

I'd be all about those treasures too. I'm all attraction and price too. In fact, if the price is good enough, I can nudge the attraction.

Laura-

Good night those are some great finds! And, the price is unbelievable!

Thanks for stopping by my blog :) And, yes you totally can make a slipcover. This was my first big piece of furniture (other's were little dining chairs that didn't have piping). It definitely seems like a huge project, but when you break it down into little sections it's definitely do-able. Don't do what I did, which was staring at it for almost an hour freaking myself out, and jump right into watching Miss Mustard Seed's video tutorials that I linked too. Soooo helpful.

Hope this helps!

Great scores Laura!!!!!
I am so happy to have someone else who is driven mainly by the price. I can see something I want so bad...but if the price means taking money from other things, I can learn to live without it...(of course I do go through a very long mourning process...LOL)

Now one thing I couldn't have left behind was the rose you got. Thank you for the trip to the nursery my friend. Ours here haven't even got any plants in them yet.
sending hugs
