Christmas Home Tour 2012

IMG_0648

Dear Friends,

As I write this, my grandsons are assembling Lego kits a few feet away,

and my favorite cookbooks are sitting on the dining table so I can make one of my 6:00 am grocery shopping trips to HEB tomorrow morning.

I have tamales to pick up at Delia’s at noon tomorrow

and a cookie baking session with my grandsons after that.

I know my father will stop by often to sit and watch the action.

These are the things that feed my soul in this quirky home

I love so much.

Welcome and Merry Christmas!

Just had to write and say I not only enjoyed your Christmas house tour but I also looked at your Christmas 2011 and loved it. And I was charmed to read your defense of Martha (not Stewart) last December! I've always empathized with Martha. Lovely blog.

Your home looks so festive! Each one of your Christmas trees is so pretty but my favorite is the beauty in your den.:) Thanks for the tour! Merry Christmas, Miss Laura!

L.B.,
The only thing better than seeing your beautiful home dressed for Christmas would be seeing me dressed for coffee in your sitting area. Make it so #1 in 2013!
Merry Christmas sweet friend. Give those babies a hug from me...and give your daddy a kiss and squeeze while you're at it. Tell him it's from just one of his many, many secret admirers.

Just found your blog today. I also had tamales from Delia's at Christmas! I'm from South Texas but now live in Tyler. Your home is lovely. Happy New Year!
