Then as I read further, I see that you have raised girls. My boys were a little harder on dishes. We lived in the second story of an old house, student section of a university town, $115.00 a month-a fortune. When I bought this place in the late 90's it still had the original avocado green stove and fridge. Replaced the fridge immediately (gave away), and stove a few years later.
