A Red Christmas

Christmas Mantel 2015
Christmas Mantel 2015

I have never met a Christmas decoration I didn’t love.

I have the crates to prove it.

But the mainstay of everything Christmas I have loved the longest is red- beautiful Christmas red.

It’s in the den this year,

Christmas Den Tree 2015

and in the kitchen,
Christmas in the Kitchen 2015
Kitchen Sitting Area
and in the kitchen hutch with my copper,

and in the living room.
 Christmas in the Living Room
I know it’s old school and traditional , but that makes me love it even more.
Red wears its age well year after year, and Christmas red is never dull.

It never disappoints, and it has the ‘umph’ to hold its own next to whatever is nearby.

So if this Christmas, you need a lift like I do,  ( which simply means you have been living life),
add red.

It works.

Nothing says Christmas like RED! Just add red to any room and immediately the room says, "Christmas." Love all your blue and white, also. Merry Christmas,

Judith

The red with the blue is just gorgeous. I always wondered how to pull that off and you did it beautifully. I love the little stoneware Santa. He's a cutie.

Love the poinsettias mixed in with your ornaments on both trees. I'm going to have to borrow that idea. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home decorated for Christmas!

Laura, this is all so pretty! I agree with you that red is the answer at Christmas. I adore the houses that are neutral but have to have red bows and poinsettias. Now, that black and white checked ribbon you have is perfection on your big tree.

Thank you so much for participating in this. I know it's a hard time for you right now. ♥

It does work and it's beautiful! Love your decorations.

Hi Laura, Well I totally agree with the pop of red and it looks so good in your gorgeous home. You know I love the black and white and your tree with the checked ribbon is beautiful.
Love your blue and white dishes with the red too and the copper is perfection. We have many of the same tastes. I have those dishes as well. Loved seeing your home on our tour.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas!

Laura, we live with red throughout the year, but I agree with you about Christmas red. Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without RED. ;-) Well, I guess you know which is my favorite image - your wonderful Christmas tree with the gorgeous black and white checked ribbon and red details. Thanks for the delightful tour of your beautiful home dressed for the holidays.
Merry Christmas, my Texas friend!

My mom's favorite color! I like to have a few pops of red here and there too, especially in my kitchen and at Christmas. Your tree is beautiful!

Your mantel is stunning! Love the black and white with the red. So classic and always an eye catcher. Love the way you have used your wonderful copper pieces with your blue and white too. I love copper and am so happy that it seems to be favored once again.

Hi, Laura! Your Christmas decorations are fabulous! Thanks for giving an insight into your marvelous home! We are having a white decoration this year. Everything is white! Jane has gone far with it and wants to cook white dishes. I can't imagine that, but hope she won't be disappointed.
Sincerely,
Fred and Jane

Everything looks so lovely in your home. The red poinsettia and red ornaments are so pretty on your tree, and the black and white ribbon adds a special touch. Love those three colors together. Blue china is the prettiest to me, and when I buy a new tea cup, it's often in blue. That mirror is gorgeous, and the three wise men sitting there are sweet. So glad I browsed through this post. You have many great ideas and are very creative in decorating.

My friend convinced me and i had no choice than to follow my friend advice, because i never dreamed of loosing my lovely Husband. And i contacted_________Robinson.buckler {@ yahoo }. com, and i discussed with him all my problems and worries and so surprisingly,he told me that I’ll get my husband back a day after. I didn’t believed Him, until when i got home, the next day,my husband called me to inform me that he is coming back home…..So Amazing!! That’s how i got my back through spell casting and our relationship was stronger than ever. One of the price i was asked to pay was to tell it to the people around me that problems like this, can always be solved by Robinson Buckler So! my advice to you out there is to visit this same E-mail address, and tell him your problems too,if you are in any condition related to love issue or getting your ex back or and problem at all, pls Contact him and have a happy life.______ YEEEAAASSS!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
