On A Quest

IMG_8929

My entire shopping trip to Round Top/Warrenton was fueled by

my quest for a zebra rug.

Boy, I do love a QUEST.

This finally got to Daughter #2-

and everyone else within hearing distance I am sure.

In my questing, I can get a little obsessed driven,

which may or may not lead to talking about it non-stop .

So under this type of mental water torture,

Daughter #2 finally said,

”Mother, you can borrow mine and see if you like it.”

Woo hoo!

True confession.

I have never been good about returning library books on time…

It looks perfect...do you think she'll notice you never gave it back? I say it's worth a shot. Enjoy your week. Patty

Isn't it fun to find things that you really enjoy? They make you feel so good when you get them. Enjoy!

Oh, it looks too good to give it back:) She will let you keep it so that you will stop talking about it, hehe! I tend to do that too, start looking for something and NOT stop until I find it:) Enjoy your evening and your nice rug... uh I mean your Daughter's rug! HUGS!

Ah ha ha ha ha. Guess it's ok to wait till family asks for something back right? Unless of course your daughter is also a librarian.

I absolutely LOVE that rug!! I'm jealous....I didn't get to go to Warrenton this spring. Looks like it was worth the trip! and worth whatever the fine!

I love it and love how you placed it on top of the patterned rug.....great layering. I love the whole room!! I came real real close to buying a cowhide but in the end went with a shag instead. But that cowhide is still on my mind.

Laura, I love the rug and it is perfect for your room!

That rug looks PUURRR-FECT in your living room. I have the exact same rug in my dining room and move it to different rooms from time to time...I love how it adds that "WOW-ness" to a room...no matter the decor!

Sounds like you won't return it! ;)

BTW, found your blog through Savvy Southern Style.

I think I was with Lauren when she bought it in Canton and I've kicked myself every day for not buying one too!

OK....I love your (oops, daughter's) zebra rug. I have a woven zebra rug, not as lovely as yours, and a zebra bathroom. You have wonderful charm!!!! Jill
