Fall Mantel

IMG_9980

I have been in such a can’t sit still project mode this past month, my husband asked me last Saturday what was making me feel guilty.

Me? Guilty?

Just because I can’t sit still, and I have spray paint fingers (dented and speckled)?

Guilty?

No-

just energized and creative.

Don’t you love it when that happens?

And so when I found a burlap canvas from Wisteria at the flea market recently  ($1.00),

that flow started and hasn’t stopped.

Isn’t it fun when that happens?

I may not be able to walk, and I may be a little paint splattered, but I am having fun ,and that is

the best feeling in the world ( not to be confused with guilty).

It is till in the high 80’s here,

so I wanted something that felt cool.

L.B.,
There's nothin' wrong with a little guilty pleasure!
BTW...I'm gonna try and convince everyone paint splattered clothes are the "new" LBD!

Oh, Laura, the mantle looks beautiful and the monogram is perfect! Love the contrast of the swirly letters against the textured burlap. It would be equally lovely on my mantle as it is mine and John's monogram too :)
