Creating Your Own Blog Book

IMG_2203

Please tell me that on any given day a thought hits,

usually unrelated to what you are doing at the time,

and you think (in no particular order),

“I need to call her now,”

or

“I need to sign up for Carbonite even though I don’t understand how it works,”

or

”I better get all of my blog posts printed before something happens to them.”

And so I did.

I now have 4 volumes of White Spray Paint posts for years 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.

The online company I used was Blurb.

The process was simple and easy to follow.

Great idea! A friend's daughter did this of her wedding and gave to them. They loved it and cherish it forever. Thanks for sharing!

I have created three books of my poetry, a huge birthday book for my sister's 70th birthday and another for my oldest son's 53rd birthday last October. All using BLURB!!

I am head over heels in love with them.

Can you do this with your blog posts-not just the photos?

I've been doing this too for the last four years, but with Shared Books. It feels like such an accomplishment to see them all in print.

I have never heard of getting blog posts in print, but what a great idea! Your own personal 'coffee table' books, they look amazing and what fun to browse through actual pages.

Thanks for reminding me I need to update. I had a book done a while back but it is not current. I need to check on the name of the company I used and look into your company too.

Hi Laura, I have started to make blog to book so many times and found it to be complicated. Perhaps I was going about it wrong but I would love to have them. As you know, lots of work and love goes into blogging and having a book(s) just seems so nice. I am going to check into Blurb. You now have your treasured blog to enjoy forever.

Those books are so neat! Now you don't have to worry about anything happening to your pictures in the future.

What a great idea. I have made books before but not one of my blog. I'd be sad if something happened to the posts so it would be a great idea to capture them in a book. Thanks, Laura
