Chairs

IMG_6061

I think it is time to stop buying random chairs.

I bought 2 of these in Goliad, Texas

on the side of the road.

I made an illegal U-turn,

bought them,

and then

somehow fit two of them in the back of Hauler 2.

I love dining table chairs with

shield backs.

I can’t seem to stop buying them.

I may have to start hanging them from the ceiling.

And so the heat and my projects continue,

including:

*delivering the turquoise campaign dresser to Daughter #3

*hanging the gallery wall of botanical prints

*painting my dining chairs white and seeing how they look with a dark dining table

and

*finishing the Nap Room’s arrangement and accessories.

Sigh…

Hi Laura,
I know about the chair thing. I've got it bad for them too. LOL! Love the little sweet white chair with the lovely back.

You have been really busy with projects. It's never ending is it.

hugs

Love little chairs but I've been banned from buying any more! :( Bah...what do men know? They think all chairs are alike.

Nap room? I've missed something here, but I'm intrigued.
Don't stop buying chairs - just let one or two go to a new home.

Like those chairs. You are getting a lot more accomplished than I am in this heat.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

A nap room sounds so interesting...and the chairs are wonderful. You'll find a place for them.

theyr'e beautiful. Paint the legs of your table to match, leaving the top stained. How cool that you can say you have a "napping" room

Such a gorgeous chair. It would be so hard to pass them up, however if I bring home one more chair it will definitely have to hang from the ceiling. Hugs, Marty

I have 56 chairs. People crack up when I say that, BUT we have great parties and everyone finds a good place to plant it.

Those are too pretty to leave behind on the side of the road Laura. I would have chanced a ticket for them too.

I love those botanical prints!!!!! I think napping would escape me if these were in my view.

I love the idea of a Nap Room. And the prints are wonderful, the new mats are perfect with the paint color. Also, if you want to keep buying random chairs, please bring all unwanted or unneeded ones up my direction, the shield on the back of these two is so frenchy!! xoxo Debra

Oh no Laura, don't stop buying these beauties! Just sell something to make more room, and keep on buying. You know it is not right to pass up a bargain when ya find one, lol. Hope the heat is not too bad on ya'll, take care.

L.B.,
A chair that pretty doesn't need to be hanging from the ceiling...put it on a chain and hang it around your neck!
Am I to understand that picking one's seat is encouraged in your home? I should fit right in.
Anthony
P.S. Right now I have a mahogany table with white french chairs...and I love it. Go for it.

Those darling chairs were too hard to resist! Who could leave them on the side of the road? I am sure you will put them to good use and with three daughters they might fight over them.

I, too, have a few projects yet to do. One includes painting chairs, but they are not nearly as lovely as yours! I love yours. I am not really motivated at the moment to paint anything . . . Our school starts in a week for teachers and 2 weeks for students! Can you believe it? XOXO

I can't seem to get ambitious about anything with this heat wave. You are doing great! That chair is amazing. Great find!

There is nothing that does it for quite like a new chair or two!!! (Except for for handsome man in a pink shirt!) Yours are ABSOLUTELY gorgeous!!! I would have risked going to jail for them! That's just the kind of girl I am! If you ever want to sell them, you have an instant buyer! I'll be right here waiting! ;)
