(corner of my kitchen)
So I was sitting on the couch minding
my own business,
and in my alternate universe of
procrastination/ADD,
I thought
‘I need to paint the kitchen.’
(True confession…I called Benny to come paint the kitchen.
Do you remember Eldon from Murphy Brown?
Benny plays the Bee Gees Staying Alive
non-stop-
which doesn’t bother me one bit.)
So now what do I do?
I had a red kitchen, and now I have a beige kitchen.
Beige?
Now, I want my cabinets painted this color and my kitchen walls white…
Help!

Ahhhhh.....
Go for it!
Life's short and you should have a kitchen painted just as you like it.
Go for it!

I think all of Blogland loves the new color idea. We can live in your kitchen vicariously! Linda
If it's a light beige will it not go with that beautiful shade of blue-ish green? I love that colors, btw.
When all else fails...punt!
Love the explosion of color.

The Bee Gees AND new paint? Girlfriend, that's a win win in my book.
Love the turquoise cabinets with white walls plan. On your deathbed you will never, ever say "I wish I'd painted less." No way. You have the spirit of an adventurer and if that means more paint for to-die-for cabinets, then paint it must be.
Just an idea. If that choice feels a bit overwhelming at this point in your life, could you paint your walls white and add lots of blue accents around your kitchen to pull that same "feel" into the room?
go for it...if it doesn't work out...you always have white spray paint...
LOVE those cabinets! Have you checked out the Annie Sloan paint? I think it's going to be my next project :-). XOXO
That kitchen is gorgeous!!
