Where Do Bloggers Go? : Part II

I originally wrote a post pondering “ Where Bloggers Go” here.

I wrote it about this time last year, when I surfaced from a blogging absence and realized too much time had elapsed since I had posted last.

We have all periodically read each other’s blogging disclaimers in the first paragraph of a long overdue post.

It usually begins with “…I know it has been awhile”.

But here is what I hope.

I hope you small band of cool, quirky readers that gets what I say,

often over and over again- because I love repeating myself,

KNOWS where I am.

After all, you have read enough about what happens around here this time of year.

Can you guess?

Here is where I have been:

* I have been watching my oldest grandson (above) as often as we can get there, play a game I love (baseball).

It’s a win/win or better yet a love/love situation.

He is an old soul in a 10 year old body.

He wants to do it right.  He is a warrior.

*I have watched my youngest grandson (above) play a game I will now love- soccer-

because here’s the deal:

my grandsons could throw rocks at a pile of dirt, and if I could watch and cheer I would.

He was born believing he is a warrior.

*And, I have been working my thorn scratched fingers to the bone-

in my yard-

which is a South Texas way of saying ‘garden’.

Where do you go when you aren’t blogging?

Living life and enjoying family is the best reason to step away from the computer! It will all be here when there is time to sit back down, but kids (especially grandkids) grow up so fast! Your garden is lovey, I bet you fill vases all the time! :)

As Kim (above) said - living life.
"Stuff" going on, but not blog material. Beautiful flowers in your garden - thanks for sharing.
Have as great holiday weekend!

Life gets in the way...........sometimes good and sometimes bad. Lately, for me, things haven't been on the "Sunnyside", but I'll be back.

There are so many things going on in the everyday. I find I can't post often, not much different to say. Time taken up looking after my husband, garden. Things.

What a cute post!! Sounds like my life right now....busy with the simple things. My 9 year old granddaughter is the only girl on her baseball team...those kids look like adults playing! I try to post at least once a week on my blog but sometimes just need a break from it. Love your blog! Following you!

You are living life! It's too short as it is...enjoy every minute with your grand kids! I read your blog because you are authentic! So when I don't find your blog in my email...I know you are busy living! ;)

Always good to hear from you no matter the time in between... And, I have often wondered when we started calling our yards gardens?!? ;) Mine's still a yard as well!

Such cutie pies, those boys. I think it's important to, as much as possible, live a balanced life, but if I had to let one thing go, blogging would be at the top of the list. In the grand scheme of things, it isn't even on the radar for me.

Here's to cheering on the little warriors.
