Our days were similar. I love how you broke it down. I only got a little "blue" as I thought about my mom and realized how much I still miss her after all these years. I too name my plants. The middle palm in our backyard is Rechelle as she is a bit "tired" looking but has a strong foundation :0)
I hope you enjoyed your lunch (I had pasta) and I wonder if you'll go get those grandsons :0)

I vote for kidnapping the grandsons! They are the cutest little boys.
You are one busy gal. I don't know how you tackle those yard projects in this heat. Not me! But your yard is looking great. I am getting inspired. Karen :-)

Just read your post on the Reluctant Entertainers' site about your mother and wanted to say that I, too, feel the same way about the loss of my mother. She has only been gone for 2 months and my heart just aches for her each and every day. I guess that feeling will never go away.

I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Hello Laura...

Ohhh myyy...I guess I'm not the only one that has trouble sleeping! I can't sleep and yet I'm up and about "sleepy"..doesn't make sence does it! Mmmm...your hamburger sure sounds good...hope you get to rest a bit and enjoy the rest of the day, my friend!

I was reading down through some of your previous posts...I loved reading about your Mom and Dad while they were in Mexico! It was a different time...I'd be afraid to do work like that down there now! I traveled for a number of years to work in a few orphanges in Mexico. Over time it got more and more difficult to get down there without having problems.

Well my friend, just wanted to stop by and wish you a Happy Mother's Day! I'm so glad that you came by yesterday to take a peek at my new shell dishes...and thank you for your lovely comments!!!

Warmest wishes,
Chari
