Decking the Halls

IMGP0375

When I ‘deck the halls’, it doesn’t bother me one bit for things to look even more dolled up than usual.

IMGP0374

When Daughter #3 gave me 3 of these wonderful glass ornaments several years ago, hanging them against the dark green branches of a tree just didn’t do them justice.

And then there is the glittered fruit- which could never be mistaken as real, but that is just fine with me.

IMGP0383

I have collected it in all sorts of forms: candle rings (rarely used as such), picks, and individual pieces.

IMGP0377

IMGP0382

In fact fantasy works for me- of course dark red garlands wear beads. We all love beads, don’t we?

IMGP0381

Just know this- anything you do at Christmas to ‘paint the barn’ matches how I feel too.

IMGP0384

I am traveling the party circuit at

Deck the Halls Tuesday, Three or More Tuesday , Ruby Red Tuesday, and 2nd Time Around Tuesday.

Just click on the meme title to go straight to those wonderful blogs.

Great minds think alike. It wouldn't be a Christmas tree without beaded fruit and sparkling trim. I have those same ones and every year they have a place of honor on one of the tree! I love the large ornaments on the chandalier. Can we over decorate? No way...if you can see the branches, it just needs more!

I was just here a little while ago... you are amazing. Love the chandilier. I have a huge bag of the fruit, but I couldn't get a decent picture of it. I need a tripod.
Great pics.

Daughter #3 has got to be your favorite! That child is a genius to give her Mama those beautiful ornaments for her beautiful chandie! Yes. Three is a good number.
