Supper At Sam’s

IMG_7819

During a recent trip to Sam’s Club,

I set off a store alarm while looking at the cameras,

stood entranced at the jewelry counter mumbling

‘no,no,no,no’,

and held up multiple pairs of yoga pants

wondering how something form fitting is ever a good thing?

So, to avoid further catastrophe,

I turned my sails and headed  to the grocery section to buy supper.

Here is what I bought.

This salad is

WONDERFUL.

So is this one.

When in Sam’s,

I always buy a rotisserie chicken.

They are the BEST.

The Menu?

Roasted Chicken

Grape Tomatoes

Steamed Asparagus with Sea Salt

and

Broccoli Salad

Other favorite grocery items at Sam’s:

large bag of cole slaw

large bag of romaine lettuce (6 heads)

pico de gallo (rustic salsa) in the deli section

Campari tomatoes

Oooh, I'm going to look for those salads at Sam's TODAY! Thanks for the tip. I'm giggling at the idea of you setting off the alarms in the camera section!

Is there anything you can't find at "Sam's Club?" We love Sams! They really do have some great products. Fortunately for us we have one near our cottage in Maine as well as our full-time residence!

Happy New Year!

Those salads do look good. I love bringing home dinner from the store on shopping day.. Goodness knows buying groceries- bringing them home and putting them all away doesnt put me in the mood to cook so I agree, this is the perfect solution.

That looks delicious. There's no Sam's up here, but I can tell that it would be a favorite stop if there were!

I bought Compari Tomatoes at Sams today! I bought a lot of other stuff too but, those are a staple. We also like the hummus.

I dont think I have seen hose salads in our Sam's. I am allergic to sunflower seeds so that first one wouldn't work, but the Asian one looks yummy. Don'tcha just love Sam's. I could drop several hundred dollars and get home and have nothing to cook for dinner. LOL Ours has gotten so much better and really stepped up their gourmet line. I heard they were trying to stay competitive nationwide with Trader Joes. Hope you are well. Barb
