Projects Again

IMG_0476

I’m at it again.

I am in the middle of millions and millions of projects, as I prepare for family coming for a visit.

There’s the rearranging and the fluffing and even the wide eyed horror

as I discover that yes I do have 7 silver plate pitchers.

(Correction:  I just found 3 more in the garage.)

Does loving the shape and feel and purpose of something mean you can have 10 of them?

Who in the world bought all of those (for I am sure less than $10 each) and brought

them home from the flea market?

Oh dear.

And then there’s the need for these guys.

And no- we are not moving.

However,  in the midst of all of the projects and the ten silver pitchers I decided  my piano needed to move as in TODAY , and I couldn’t stand it a minute longer.

Please tell me this sense of urgency hits you on occasion too??

And so I justified the need for help by this

White Spray Paint

truism:

Hiring movers for a two hour minimum is cheaper than a visit to the emergency room.

Update:  The piano has been moved back to its original location…

Your collection of pitchers would make a nice display. On the piano?

I am loving all of the pieces in your collection ~ especially the white. Well, I really like the silver and I really like the blue...

Like them all :)

I do get sudden rushes of urgency as well. It is kind of my mo. The old adage, Don't put off till tomorrow gets me into trouble sometimes.

When you collect something, do we need to justify it? Obsession, love, addiction...sounds like me and old brass. Your pitchers look so lovely!!

Preparing for visitors tends to put me in instant invigorated panic mode! Thank goodness I don't have a piano. ;)

Oh yes... urgency to do something does attack me from time to time. I just wish I still had the "umph" to make my visions turn real. Such is life!!
And where was your dear hubby when Chapa's pulled up???

This quite an amazing blog that you have! I'm always impressed by individuals who are devoted to any craft that they undertake. You blog reminds me of this women who is currently offering a unique online service that showcases her spray painting skills. I would implore anyone and everyone to click the following link and see what she has to offer :)

A trip to the ER in an ambulance for unrelenting back spasms will set you back around 3K. Insurance will negotiate it down to about $1200 -- so you are absolutely right!
