Hello fellow Texan! Thank you for visiting my blog. I checked yours out and was sorry that the first thing I read was about your husband having surgery. I'll pray for you both and read your archives so I'll know what's going on. Good luck.

Laura,

Thank you so much for visiting me. I am glad that you did. It gave me the opportunity to see your beautiful blog.

You and your husband are in my prayers. I will have to read more of your blog to see what is going on.

It's a pleasure to meet you.

Laura - I pray that things may go well for your hubby, and ya'll have a safe trip.

As for the sweet bread/butter pickles, I'd just put 1/4 to 1/2 of a jalapeno or serrano in there when you pack em. Mine would be bread & butter without the dill, and maybe with a little extra sugar. I love bread/butter ones, too. Maybe you'll have to send me your recipe of those!

Take care! Vickie

Laura, your home looks so lonely without y'all. Travel safely and hurry home. We're praying for successful surgery and healing.
