You Have Been Tagged- Yes You

I have been tagged by the wonderful Kate at K&G BookClub to list 6 uninteresting things about me.

Here goes:

1.  I love it when I have nowhere I have to be.

2.  I love planning parties, cooking for parties, and decorating for parties.  Although I enjoy having people in my home very much- and I believe I am considered to be hospitable- my least favorite thing is being at the party- go figure.

3.  I love school supplies, but I am very particular.  My notebook paper or notepad paper must be wide-ruled, my pens black- medium point. Later in life ,I also became enamored with writing with a freshly sharpened #2 pencil. Nirvana.

4.  I love women’s collegiate basketball (particularly Big 12 games), and I enjoy watching those games on television with my husband. I also enjoy traveling to College Station to watch the Lady Aggies in person. I really enjoy arriving early so I can go to an older part of Bryan and visiting antique stores (my husband is a very good sport- just ask the people in New Normal- they would agree).

5.  I love what you love. What does that mean? Point in fact: I have a notepad by my chair so I can write down all of your wonderful ideas including book titles, cookbook recommendations, paint colors, camera information, china patterns, recipes , spiritual ideologies, laugh out loud funny stuff…you get the picture.

6.  I really love Christmas and decorating my home for Christmas.  I am slightly embarrassed to say that I usually put up 3 trees. It is during Christmas that I like to have the parties I mentioned in #1 because everyone’s house looks good at Christmas.

Uh-oh.  I have the feeling that this is all to0 much information.

I am also a rule breaker- so if you click on my blog, and read this post,

You are TAGGED.  Now go share 6 uninteresting/fascinating things with too much information like I just did! In fact it looks like I listed 60 things. Sorry Kate…

What fun, Laura! I think the love of school supplies must be a teacher thing! Yes...medium point black for me, please! I like my refillable lead pencils...the tip is always sharp! lol Have a great week!!...Debbie

Laura, Except for the sports I have to say I feel the same. I love the tip of keeping notes at the desk, I always see something on a blog I like and then can't remember where. A nice sharp pencil is wonderful and planning a party is way more fun than the actual event. I used to put a tree in every room but I have cut back to three or four. Hope all is well with you and your family. I posted an award for you on my blog. Pam

Dang it, I wish I's known you were in town for the Lady Aggies. Did you see the blimp fly in Reed this season? My husband is one of the pilots. Lets get together next year. Should be another good season!

I also love the planning part of entertaining. Making list after list for it.... relaxes me in some freak way I guess. But since I don't like being the center of attention, being at the party is not as fun.

I love Christmas as well (but I only do 1 tree). And because of your #1, I've discovered that I'm exactly the same way -- the party itself is my least favorite thing!! Who've thunk it!!

Believe me - I am not offended! :-D I am laughing at myself, for getting myself into something when I have no clue what I am doing (again). I have been messing with this most of the day - at least I am getting laundry done at the same time. I hate to get involved in something like this, because I don't know when to quit. I know one thing - I sure did not graduate where ever I went! :-D I have been stumbling thru this blogging adventure since day 1.
And yes - I am glad you stopped by with your ideas (even if they did not help). :-D
